HU Mentors August Chapin and Jacob Turner get early decisions at the College of their Choice.

August Chapin (Browning 17) and Jacob Turner (UNIS 17) have been an integral part of Harlem United since they began playing basketball with Coach Rashid in middle school.  Yet their most impressive accomplishments with Harlem United came in the classroom, where they have worked as peer mentors and tutors since 2014. Both young men have received early decision admission to prestigious academic institutions. In fall 2017, August will attend Davidson College, while Jacob will attend Pomona College. We are privileged to have been able to have played a role in their growth and development.

7th Grade team continues to grow

HU's new 2022 team won their first game in the Hoops By The River Tournament. The Young squad which consists of many first time players has struggled but they won a tight contest against a good Hudson Evolution Team. We are very proud of the teams ability to execute the game plan and pull out a victory.
